How do I create an account?

You will need the Class Code given to you by your teacher.

From the Edcite Sign-in Page, choose 'Join Class' and enter the Class Code. You will be asked to verify your teacher's name. If your teacher is identified correctly, select 'Continue' to arrive at the Account Creation page.

To create an account you will provide:

    1. a User ID (needs to be unique)
    2. a Password
    3. Your First Name and Last Name
    4. (Optional) Email address (to receive assignment notifications by email)
Once you've entered these details, hit 'Join Class' to arrive at your Student Home Page.

From the Student Home page, you can see a listing of all your Assignments.

How can I get my Assignment from Edcite if I don't have Internet access at home?

Please notify your teacher immediately.

Edcite allows teachers to create a printed version of the Assignment. This is designed to help students who may not be able to go online.

(However, please note that the printed version of Edcite Assignments will NOT have the same interactive features as the online Assignment. So the effectiveness of doing Edcite Assignments on paper will depend on the exact question types used in that Assignment)

How did I do on an Assignment? How soon can I see my scores?

Your teacher decides whether or not you get to see the correct answers and your scores as soon as you submit an assignment.

If your teacher has enabled question-level feedback:

When you finish working on a question in your Assignment, you can click 'Done, Grade Q' to see how you did on that question.

You can also see how you did on the Assignment as a whole, when you 'Submit' the Assignment on completion.

All auto-graded responses are scored immediately and shown in the Score report. Responses that require teacher grading will not be scored until the teacher is done grading the Assignment.

Your Student Home Page lists all of your Assignments. There is a 'Report' button against each completed Assignment that brings up the associated score report.

Note: You can practice an Assignment any number of times by choosing the 'View Assignment' action button from your Assignment listing, and clicking on 'Open' when the Assignment page comes up.

Only the first submission is taken into account for scoring.

Where can I see how I did on all my Assignments?

On the header of your Student Home page, clicking on 'My Scores' (under 'Assignments') will show you an Assignment-by-Assignment summary of your scores. Clicking on the 'Details' of each Assignment will show you how you did on each question in the Assignment.
