How to create a New Class:

Click on the 'Create Class' button to set up your class:

Name (required) - Enter a name for your class. 

Class Code - Use the class code generated by Edcite. Or, change this class code (Edcite will check to make sure the class code is unique).

Signup Status - Enrollment On indicates that (new) students can join the class. Enrollment Off indicates that this class is closed to new students.

Add Class - Will add this class to your account.

Your new class will be shown here:

How do I add/switch students to/from a class?

There are 2 ways to add students into your class.

Option 1: Class Code

When students join your class using the class code, their names will figure on the class roster:

You can also see all of your students across all classes listed under 'All Classes'

 (Note: If a student forgets his/her password and doesn't have an email id associated with his account, you can set a new password manually)

Option 2:  Manual

Please follow these instructions to manually add a new student to your class.

To switch students to/from a class, follow the instructions below:

To help students sign-up, you may want to print out and give your students instructions on signing up for Edcite. Simply open and print this Student Sign Up Sheet, write in your class code, make the necessary number of copies and hand them out. Note that the sheet is designed to be cut in half to conserve paper. 

You can also share this Student Sign Up video (copy the link) with your students to walk them through the sign-up:
